With the white picket fence, the tree lined driveway and the fact that we’re a members’ club –
it’s easy to perhaps assume the club is closed off to those who are not involved with cricket.
However, nothing could be further from the truth. The club prides itself on being part of the
community, it actively supports many aspects of the village – a few of which are listed below:
Saxon Spires use our clubhouse for rehabilitation sessions.
Our Junior Disco on our festival weekend raises money for Brixworth Primary School
as well as our chosen charity of each year. (2025 is Children with Cancer)
Hosting social events for the local branch of The Royal British legion
Providing produce for Brixworth Larder
Since our first game at the new ground in 2008 we have made charitable donations totalling
over £50,000 – benefitting Help For Heroe’s, MND Foundation, Chance to Shine, Teenage
Cancer Trust, 3 Little Miracles, Rainbows, Stroke Association and many many more.
Whilst we cannot compare our needs to those listed above, the chance to continue our
efforts in supporting young people to be healthy, active and understand what team sport
really means through cricket, is what drives us on.
We now need your support to help us raise funds towards the asking price to
purchase the club.
